Team Activities for Dry January

Reading Time: 1 minute

It’s that time of year when our New Year’s resolutions are still going strong. We’ve been to the gym twice in a week, haven’t touched a packet of crisps, and even made it to Dorset to visit a third-cousin. But as the days go by, and the cravings get stronger, you and your team’s willpower may begin to wilt and wane.

Have no fear; HeadBox is here.

To get over the Dry January hump, and keep up morale, we’ve put together a collection of team activities which, believe it or not, don’t involve drinking. “Impossible” you say! That’s not a word in our vocabulary. Read on, o sober one, to discover a new world of team away days.

Aveqia is home to five stunning Scandinavian-designed kitchens, available for group hire. Why not get together a group of colleagues for a very special team away day – there’s nothing like a bit of healthy competition to get your team’s creative juices flowing!

Nothing says fun team away day quite like a bit of good old-fashioned bowling. The Lodge at the Bayswater branch of Adam Breeden’s chain of alleys has been decorated like the Wild Wild West. The vibrant colours and quirky design are bound to give your team a competitive boost, so tie your laces, down your pint of coca cola and get bowling!

If a lack of alcohol has ironically decreased your inhibitions, why not try your hand at free jumping? With fitness classes in the evening, you’ve got no reason to stop by the pub on the way home.
