Clubs to hire as more than just a party venue!
When you’re thinking about hosting a daytime event it might not have entered your mind to look at clubs to hire – but why not? HeadBox’s ambition to take advantage of under-utilised space across London can be found in the most unlikely of venues. Do you ever wonder what goes on in your favourite club at 11AM on a Tuesday morning? “Most likely nothing” you say. Well HeadBox believes wholeheartedly that shouldn’t be the case. We’d love for there to be something happening in these amazing venues – and not just in the evenings or on a Friday or Saturday night. Many of these Spaces are perfectly geared up to hosting events; a club is more than just a party venue, it can be adapted to many different events.
Although the exact number is difficult to gauge, there are around 340 nightclubs in London (with a further 2200 bars). In today’s day and age we’re taught to recycle as many of our daily used objects for the benefit of the environment; there’s absolutely no reason why this shouldn’t be the case for event and meeting spaces. Why should the cavernous clubs of the capital, many with capacities upwards of 150, be open solely for nighttime revellers? Sure, you could hire all the spaces below out for a Saturday night birthday bash, but we’re all about thinking outside that proverbial box. These Spaces are naturally full of energy and atmosphere – perfect if you’re looking for a little inspiration or motivation!
Village Underground
Composed of shipping containers, ex-train carriages and a huge warehouse, Village Underground’s stripped back, versatile aesthetic has made it a popular club to hire for all kinds of cultural events in East London. This is a creative, dynamic venue for an inspiring event. In February of this year, the club’s state-of-the-art lighting and sound system and huge 720 capacity made the warehouse the perfect space for our good friends at Payasugym. China White
The Chinawhite club has an extensive history in London’s nightlife. Renowned for being notoriously hard to get into unless you were a celebrity, since moving to its current Fitzrovia location, it has shrugged off it’s past pretensions. With four separate areas within the one space, the club has begun to specialise in private dinners and corporate canapé receptions on the less busy days of the week, offering an impressive club to hire for your event. This party venue has a touch of glamour and everything you might need to impress your guests.
Montezuma
Having recently opened their doors from 11AM Monday to Saturday, Montezuma London is the trendy Knightsbridge club making significant changes to amplify the use of their space. With a total capacity of 100 people, and in such brilliant location, Montezuma has become popular among media agencies and the like for product launches, workshops, and even lunchtime meetings. This Space is situated just moments away from South Kensington station, making it an ideal West London location for bringing together a group of friends or colleagues.
Brixton Jamm
This party venue is a Brixton favourite. This part of South London is fast getting a reputation for being one of the most buzzing and popular areas of the city. And this club is one of the best-known venues to hire in the area – whether for parties or for events.

The Comedy Store
The Comedy Store is one of London’s most famous venues – it’s a different kind of club, but there’s no doubt this is one of the most inspiring clubs to hire in the city. If you want to get your colleagues together in a new environment hopefully this venue will bring an element of fun to the event – and maybe a few laughs!
