The museum is the largest urban history collection in the world, with more than six million objects within its walls. So there will never be a dull moment as you and your Guests take in all the amazing history within the Museum of London.
We’re going to take you on a whistle-stop tour of some of the best Spaces at the Museum of London so you have all the information you need when looking for your next venue to hire in London.
Firstly, welcome to Sackler Hall. A unique event Space in the heart of the Museum of London with a show-stopping digital ellipse and plasma screen.
Choose from endless possibilities, from a twinkling chandelier to your own bespoke display, perfect for award ceremonies, celebrations and corporate conferences.
This state of the art facility offers a capacity of up to 1000 Guests for a standing reception or 420 for a seated dinner, both fully supported by the museums’ dedicated events team.
The Garden Room can be hired for both daytime and evening events at the Museum of London. This amazing Space has a capacity of up to 70 delegates. When hired exclusively, it’s perfect for networking events or corporate presentations.
It can also be used as a smaller breakout room for the Terrace Gallery, as a separate catering area or as a meeting room.
The People City Gallery is definitely one of the more iconic Spaces at the Museum. This award-winning gallery tells the amazing story of the world’s most exciting city. Guests can experience London’s history from 450,000 BC right up to the present day as they approach the main event Space in the Sackler Hall.
The People City Gallery can hold up to 80 Guests for dinner and up to 200 Guests for a drinks reception and was solely designed with events in mind. So no matter what the event, this Space will be able to accommodate.
Finally, we have the Terrace Gallery. Available for daytime and evening hire, the Terrace Gallery is a popular venue for daytime meetings up to 100 delegates or smaller conferences. A data projector, screen and PA system are offered for every meeting.
You also gain direct garden access which makes the perfect breakout Space.
The Terrace Gallery provides a beautiful setting for an evening reception with a range of menus to match, from canapes and fork buffets to barbecues and hog roasts. It can host dinners for up to 90 Guests and receptions for 150.
