‘Tis the season to be jolly… and stressed, and tired, if you don’t book your Christmas party in time!

Some parts of 2021 it has felt like the Grinch almost stole the hope of Christmas, but with vaccination rates on the rise and flexible booking terms from venues , now is the time to book in that Christmas party.  HeadBox CEO, Ali, tells us her top 8 reasons to plan your Christmas party now…

1. Dates are limited

With last year’s in-person parties being postponed until this year, some venues are already fully booked on the popular dates. Get in early to secure the venue & the date that you want.

2. Early bird discounts

You can get more bang for your buck if you book now with venues offering discounted rates for Christmas bookings taken early, which means one thing… a bigger bar tab!

3. Light (on) entertainment

With the focus being on creating an amazing experience to wow your guests, the best performers and entertainment will be booked up quickly. To make sure you’re creating a memorable evening that will make your guests (momentarily) forget the past 18-months, explore your options sooner rather than later.

4. Catering for every taste

If you’re wanting to create a wow-factor experience in your own office or a dry hire venue, working with the  best caterers to deliver a first-class experience is key. Like venues, performers & entertainers, you’ll need to secure them soon if you’d like a carefully curated menu for a private party.

5. Venues have limited capacities

Whilst lockdowns are predicted to be lifted by the end of October for most states, venues will still have to follow Government guidelines for capacity restrictions to keep you all rocking and rolling into 2022 happy and healthy. This means you may have to look at bigger venues to fit your colleagues which comes with more planning so make sure there’s plenty of time to get it right.

6. Claim your date

It’s probably been a while since you’ve all been able to clink your glasses together and enjoy a night out, so make sure your guests aren’t double-booked by securing your event date and sending out invitations. It will also build excitement & give your colleagues something to look forward to!

7. Get Creative

The best events are those that are thought-through, well planned and most importantly, have had time to really be creative with. This can allow for personal touchpoints in the lead up to build excitement, or on the night to make it really feel like it’s your own Christmas party.

8. Allow yourself to enjoy the night too!

After a tough 2 years, everyone deserves to enjoy the party, none more-so that the organisers themselves! Our in-house Event Management Team will take on all the heavy lifting ensuring you can relax on the night & enjoy a glass of bubbles. Our team is already working on a range of Christmas bookings but there’s still room for more so book now to guarantee additional resources and a brilliant festive celebration.
