1. The Court
The Court is a stylish, welcoming members club in vibrant Soho that has played host to some of the world’s most famous musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
The elegant private dining room can accommodate up to 12 Guests and is situated on the first floor, just behind the iconic entrance.
It is the perfect Space for an intimate dining or simply an exclusive area offering lavish set menus and uniquely selected drinks options.
2. Jugged Hare
Named after the prestige cuvée of Joseph Perrier Champagne and also the name of the famous Champagne-maker’s daughter, Josephine is a stunning private room with exposed brick walls, vaulted ceilings and restored Champagne racks.
The Jugged Hare, situated in Barbican, is London’s leading game restaurant, priding itself on delivering full flavours, innovative ideas and perfectly executed dishes.
For corporate entertaining, the Josephine Room is ideal for your event. The room can accommodate up to 26 on one large square table, up to 36 on a horseshoe-shaped table and up to 50 on round tables.
The high ceilings, Italian marble panelled walls, Matcham style balcony and glorious architectural features give the Assembly Hall a distinctive feeling of grandeur and elegance.
This magnificent Grade II listed building was once one of the grandest civic buildings in the capital. With its main purpose now to serve the community and hosting live events, the building has a collection of stunning Spaces that are perfect for any event.
The Auditorium is the venue’s centrepiece however, and includes the option to utilise the Balcony offering full capacity of 772 Guests theatre style, while removable seating on the stalls level maintains the room’s versatility.

5. Coal Shed
Occupying two floors, The Coal Shed London is a modern open plan restaurant with a private dining room and an excellent cocktail bar.
The Coal Shed private dining room is the perfect Space for both personal and corporate entertaining. Designed for groups from 10 to 20, the private room is available seven days a week for lunch and dinner.
You and your Guests can choose from two specially created seasonal group dining menus, which celebrate coal-roasted meat and seafood. The three-course menu offers your Guests individual options, while the more indulgent feasting menus give Guests the chance to try a selection of our famous sharing courses. The excellent bar team is also on hand to create drink receptions and wine pairings.
This incredible Space was originally a barrel-vaulted barge-house linked directly to the Thames. The Embankment Galleries are now the most modern and adaptable exhibition Space Somerset House has to offer.
The Embankment Galleries are spread over the ground floor and mezzanine level of the South Wing. This network of rooms hosts annual exhibitions such as Photo London and the London Design Festival.
Not to mention one-off shows such as Big Bang Data With events such as this in its repertoire, Somerset House is definitely top of the list of London event Spaces.
The Grade II listed Queens’ Building is home to the elegant Octagon. Built in 1887, the Octagon was originally the Queen Mary library, designed by Victorian architect ER Robson and inspired by the Reading Room at the British Museum.
Restored in 2006, brightly coloured leather-bound books have been reinstated to the bookshelves with busts of famous literati looking down from the beautiful high domed ceiling; combining to create a wonderfully atmospheric setting in order to provide a ‘wow’ factor for any event.
