2020 has to be the year of ‘virtual’. We’ve mastered the art of social and business interaction from the comfort of our sofas with meetings, conferences, parties and more streaming straight into our living rooms. And now, we’re taking you on a virtual tour of London.
London is full to bursting with brilliant, beautiful venues, many of which have been closed for the majority of the year putting a stop to events and site visits. But never fear, we’ve got 3D virtual tours of some of the very best venues across the Capital to help you plan ahead for in-person events in 2021.
So, sit back, relax and enjoy this whistle-stop tour.
Freemason’s Hall
We’re starting strong with an ‘art deco masterpiece’ in Covent Garden.
Originally built as a peace memorial to honour the thousands of Freemasons who fought during the First World War, Freemasons’ Hall is the home of the United Grand Lodge of England.
Freemasons’ Hall welcomes more than 200,000 people from across the world through its doors every year, including members visiting for meetings and guests attending special events.
The venue also provides a magnificent setting for product launches and receptions for up to 1,200 people, dinners and dances catering for 25-250 and conferences for up to 1,000 delegates.
Take a stroll through the historic hallways and find yourself in The Grand Temple – perfect for a BIG Christmas party in 2021 (yes, we’re already planning ahead!)
You’ll find our next three venues in East London. Home to ‘trendy’ neighbourhoods and artisan coffee shops, all right next door to the City of London, East London is a melting pot of creativity, food and history that is always buzzing with life.
City Social
If it’s a private dining room you’re looking for then, trust us, you’ve found it.
City Social has not one, but two private dining spaces as well as the Chef’s Table to choose from.
The Private Dining Room Suite is situated on the 24th floor of one of the tallest buildings in the City. With floor to ceiling glass windows, the rooms have fantastic views across The City of London and sleek art-deco interiors.
Lumiere, Underwood Street
One of Lumiere London’s newest venues, this loft space just a few minutes from Old Street does not disappoint. Comprised of The White Loft, The Victorian Loft, and The Chalet. Each space is big and beautifully designed as we’ve come to expect from Lumiere London’s venues. Perfect for conferences, networking, receptions, creative away days and more, this unique space provides an ideal backdrop.
The Brewery
The Brewery is a historic, Grade II listed London venue in the heart of the City, occupying the buildings of Whitbread’s 18th Century beer-making empire.
Each space at The Brewery is unique, making it hugely versatile and perfect for large events in The Porter Tun, King George III and Queen Charlotte or more intimate occasions in the James Watt, Smeaton Vaults and Sugar Rooms.
Just a little further out of the City, we’re stopping off in Monument before we cross London bridge for a jaunt south of the river.
Meet in Place
Meet in Place combines sophisticated, slick interiors with everything you need for a successful meeting – each room comes with all amenities including ergonomic chairs, large screens and refreshments.
Explore the large array of meeting rooms available in the virtual tour, ranging in size, shape and atmosphere. Whether it’s a meeting, interview or creative session, there’s a space that will work for you.
14 Hills
The stunning interiors of 14 Hills are possibly only rivalled by its panoramic views. It’s a riot of colour, filled with plants and a statement bar that just screams ‘cocktails’.
It’s the height (literally) of glamorous entertaining for any occasion from private dinners with clients or catching up with friends to larger events that use the entire spaces. With a private dining room that can seat up to 22 guests for lunch or dinner and space for 350 for private hire the choice is yours.
We’re on the move again…
Lost in Brixton
Nestled within railway arches in the heart of the buzzy Brixton village, Lost in Brixton has a colourful, fun, jungle-feel that conjures up the party spirit. The venue can accommodate up to 440 guests and can work closely with restaurants in Brixton Village to bring the perfect cuisine pairing to your event.
To finish off our tour we’re travelling over to West London, the home of iconic museums, beautiful parks and all-round sophistication.
Natural History Museum
If you’ve always wanted to explore a museum after everyone has left, now you can.
The Natural History Museum is one of London’s most iconic venues and one that is bound to impress, whatever the occasion.
From informal and intimate to creative and spectacular, the Museum’s variety of spaces will suit any corporate event. With extravagant permanent exhibitions and architectural marvels, it’s got the wow-factor in spades.
Pergola Paddington
Set across two floors with upstairs playing host to an open-air bar, Pergola is is the perfect venue for summer parties and receptions. In the winter months, Pergola Paddington turns into the perfect winter hideaway, creating an idyllic setting for your Christmas party.
With 3 bars and 4 restaurants, there’s plenty of choice when it comes to cocktails and cuisines and with space for 850 guests, it’s the ultimate party destination.
Bloom
This brand new Kensington club takes over the space that once housed Mahiki. Described as a ‘no-nonsense’ club with no guest lists or dress codes, it’s billed as a neighbourhood venue with two bars, a restaurant and a secret dancefloor.
We love it already.
