Exactly one month after HeadBox launched in Sydney, Brisbane has now gone live to our event booker community. Back in our CEO’s hometown, the team has thoroughly enjoyed sourcing amazing spots in Brisbane whether that be chic restaurants, venues with a view, quirky workshop spaces or picturesque wedding locations. We had quite the internal tussle to narrow down our favourite venues in Brisbane to just 10. Here they are for you to peruse and enjoy:

1) Amphitheatre, Calile Hotel

The Calile Hotel hosts a breadth of versatile spaces amongst its four walls however, the space that really caught our eye was their amphitheatre. Bringing a touch of greek history and the grandeur to match it is impossibly irresistible. The open-air design paired with stunning views makes this space the perfect match for product launches, drinks receptions or wow factor private dining experiences.

2) Golf School Exclusive Hire, Meadowbrook Golf Club

Hiring the golf school or driving range at Meadowbrook is a fantastic way to get everyone active before some sundown beers in their bistro or private function rooms. Utilising their state of the art coaching bays, video technology and P.G.A golf professionals whether you are a rookie or a pro you are set to improve and guaranteed to have fun. Located 20 minutes south of Brisbane’s CBD away from the hustle and bustle makes this the ultimate venue to relax and unwind on a corporate away day or networking event.

3) The Watch House, The Lord Alfred

If you are looking for a unique private dining experience this is it! The Watch House Room is a converted jail cell over a century old hidden deep under The Lord Alfred Pub. They boast a delicious cocktail menu with an array of whiskies to choose from. With a venue so rich in history this would certainly bring some scenic drama to any private dining experience.

4) Story Bridge Room, Bar Pacino

We fell in love with Bar Pacino’s floor to ceiling windows filling the room with shed loads of natural light. The room’s versatility is endless with all furniture being removable leaving you with the ability to transform the space as you wish. Looking over the Brisbane river and across at the iconic Story Bridge when the sun goes down the room is filled with golden hour rays enhancing the spaces magic.

5) Rooftop, Smoked Garage

With its rustic walls, 7th generation timber flooring and glass roof, you know straight away this is a venue like no other. The Rooftop is just one of the many hirable areas in the very cool Smoked Garage. The flexibility of the space means it can be used for creative workshops, shoots, intimate gigs or quirky private dining experiences so we know this is going to be a popular venue amongst our booker community.

6) Exclusive Venue Hire, Oche Fortitude Valley

You are in safe hands with Oche to ensure a fun event is had! Oozing vibrance, colour, and a variety of games to choose from means your group won’t be disappointed. Oche can take group bookings from 4 right up to 300 with an exclusive hire. Conveniently located only a 2-minute walk from Fortitude Valley train station makes Oche a fantastic choice for birthdays, team-building events and corporate parties.

7) Orchid Room, Emporium Hotel

The Emporium Hotel is a 5-star boutique hotel with a wealth of meeting rooms, conference facilities and exclusive areas to dine and drink. The Orchid Room is purpose-built for all your conference and meeting needs with state of the art equipment, comfy seats, lots of natural light and an extensive menu to choose from. For strategy days, workshops and board meetings this is certainly the venue we would recommend.

8) Main Canopy, Cielo Rooftop

A skyline to die for! Cielo has opted for warm coloured decor, wooden materials and festoon lighting. This is definitely a venue you intend to go to ‘for one’ and end up whiling away the hours sipping delicious cocktails, soaking in the views, and accidentally hitting the dance floor on a school night. Conveniently situated in the Fortitude Valley this will definitely be on our radar for after-work drinks, product launches and parties.

9) Marquee, Victoria Park

Victoria Park has flexible spaces in the bucket load. The Event Managers at Victoria Park are geniuses at transforming space from a slick conference setting to a magical, unique location for weddings in the blink of an eye. Victoria Park really has the best of both worlds housing the view of the Brisbane skyline yet also being surrounded by stunning, luscious gardens. We are looking forward to seeing the breadth of events that get held here.

10) Exclusive Hire, Tivoli

The final venue on our top ten but certainly not least is The Tivoli. Well known in Brisbane for hosting some of the most spectacular gigs that everyone wants a ticket too! But what really impressed us was how equipped the venue is for private hire functions inclusive of a purpose-built performance stage, integrated lighting, amazing sound, multiple bars, backstage areas, and a commercial kitchen. The venue is rich in music history and is certainly one to have on the radar for gala awards, parties and conferences.
