‘Tis the season to be jolly… and stressed, and tired, if you don’t book your Christmas party in time!
2020 was the year the Grinch stole Christmas, or at least that’s what it felt like. Sheridan, Head of Events, tells us her top 10 reasons plan your Christmas party now…
1. Dates are limited
With last year’s in-person parties being postponed until this year, some venues are already fully booked on the popular dates. Get in there early whilst you still can.
2. Venues are filling up
Some of our favourite venues do still have availability but you’ll need to be quick if you’d like to celebrate in your first choice venue as they won’t stay available for long!
3. Early bird discounts
You can get more bang for your buck if you book now with venues offering discounted rates for Christmas bookings taken early, which means one thing… a bigger bar tab!
4. Light (on) entertainment
Our best acts and activities will be performing virtually and in-person this year, which means availability will be spread a little thin with diaries full by October.
5. Catering for every taste
We have the best caterers in town who are high in demand, especially over the Christmas season! You’ll need to secure them soon if you’d like a carefully curated menu.
6. Try out hybrid
Whilst restrictions have now been legally lifted, some venues are still keeping a minimised capacity to keep you all rocking and a rolling into 2022 happy and healthy. This means you may be having a hybrid party, which comes with more planning so make sure there’s plenty of time to get it right.
7. Special deliveries
Virtual events will very much still be a thing for Christmas 2021 and why not send a gift to your guests to enhance your event. UK deliveries are inundated from the 1st December, so best book now to make sure you don’t have a guest without a present under the tree!
8. Build the excitement
It’s probably been a while since you’ve all been able to clink your glasses together and enjoy a night out, so book now to get a Save the Date out and give your guests something to look forward to!
9. Diary management
Before we know it silly season will be upon us, and this year more than ever, people are reluctant to turn down a party. Only the best party will stand out from the sea of invitations and guarantee attendance.
10. Event managing expectations
After a tough 2 years, everyone deserves to enjoy the party! Our in-house Event Management Team will take on all the heavy lifting. Our team are already squirreling away on Christmas bookings but there’s still room for more so book now to guarantee additional resource and a brilliant festive celebration.
